I first met Lauren on Monday 17th February 2020. 10 days after having my little girl Olivia. I had only been out of hospital 5 days when Olivia had her photoshoot. I was very sore and in quite a lot of pain after having a c section and surgery straight after.
Lauren couldn’t do enough to ensure I was comfortable and able to enjoy watching Olivia have her photos taken.
Lauren sat and spent so much time chatting with us before we started taking photos. Being a mum herself Lauren was asking questions about my pregnancy and labour (as us mums do). I found her very attentive and empathetic when telling her about my “ordeal”, she genuinely cared.
Once we got the chit chat out of the way we started with the photoshoot, and well she didn’t fail to go above and beyond to ensure we had the photos we wanted and more.
During the shoot Olivia started getting cranky and wanted a bottle, this wasn’t an issue for Lauren at all, even though this was eating away our shoot time, and taking up more of her time than we had booked in.
Lauren was so gentle with Olivia and so patient when putting her into certain positions, Olivia would move time and time again, yet Lauren persevered until she got the shot she wanted. She went onto tell me she her taken specific courses on how to handle babies for photography to ensure no harm came to them. I found this very reassuring and felt at complete ease leaving Lauren to do her thing, knowing my little treasure was in safe hands.
I have never been one for photographs, not of me anyway! So, when I walked passed the window of Silhouette Photography in Rhos on Sea I was quite taken aback by how drawn I was to the images in the window.
Fast forward a few weeks and, after a bit of digging and nosing around I surprised myself by booking a maternity shoot with Lauren.
To say I was nervous didn't come close to how I was feeling but I didn't need to worry, Lauren was amazing from the second I stepped into the studio.
She instantly made me feel relaxed, calm and confident and as we were both heavily pregnant with our boys I felt we connected immediately. We certainly had a giggle trying to get into position with our huge bumps!!
From that moment on I trusted Lauren to capture our precious boy in his newborn shoot, his first Christmas photos and his first valentines day shoot and she hasn't disappointed once, Our memories are perfectly captured, forever.
Lauren is so laid back, relaxed and fun that you can't help but get swept away with her and then she side swipes you with an email containing the most amazing pictures.
I can't wait to have her by our side capturing our future in a way that only she can.

About 18 months ago, I booked an outdoor photo shoot with Silhouette photography. As a family we had never done anything like this before so we didn’t really know what to expect.
We agreed to meet Lauren at a scenic outdoor area. Lauren just said to us, walk, play and cuddle with the children - I will capture it all.
Lauren was fantastic with the kids. My then 2 year old son, was a typical 2 year old and wanted to do his own thing. She was great with him! It was just a lovely experience for us all! We then waited for our photos and to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect. However I was blown away with the family images that she captured. I had so many favourites! The photos are now priceless to me.
Since then we have had another child and I am desperate to have outdoor shoot done. Personally you can’t beat a natural outdoor shoot - it’s relaxed, the kids love it and memories are captured.
I would also add that I have had Christmas mini shoots for the children done in Laurens studio too. Again Lauren was fantastic with the kids. These sort of shoots are a lot more set up which is what you would expect. Lauren has everything organised for you in the studio, so all your children have to do is turn up and smile ( a lot easier said than done!!!) But somehow she manages it! We have always loved the Christmas photos she has captured.

I met Lauren in a professional manner and honestly I just want to be best friends with her now!
Our photoshoots were so much fun. She was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. She interacted with not only me, but my husband and two year old son, making sure every one was comfortable.
She was super understanding when my son didn’t want to cooperate and she didn’t make us feel pressured in any way about his behaviour (and if you’ve ever had a toddler you know what I’m talking about).
Lauren is just such a genuinely kind person, she made me feel like a goddess during a time that I felt like a whale, and she’s now helped me preserve memories to last my family a lifetime.

We had a very relaxed intimate day with just ourselves and our children, plus our photographer Lauren.
Lauren fitted in perfectly, by subtly taking photos of us, but at the same time allowing us to have a romantic, family oriented day.
She was fantastic with our children, which was essential to ensure they enjoyed the day too. Despite them running away on the beach repeatedly, she somehow managed to capture some adorable shots.
